FARGO – The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments is seeking public input on its public transportation improvement plan and is holding a public hearing to gather feedback.

Metro COG will hold a public hearing to present the draft 2025-28 Transportation Improvement Plan on Tuesday, July 16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. According to a press release from Metro COG, the hearing will be held at the Fargo Public Library – Main Library in Community Room 101.

The plan includes transportation projects such as roads, bridges, bike lanes, pedestrian walkways, public transit and safety improvements in the Fargo-Moorhead area that will use federal funds over the next four years, Metro COG said.

Our newsroom occasionally reports under the name “Staff.” The “Staff” name is often used when rewriting basic news briefs from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure that requires little or no reporting. Sometimes this name is used when a story has multiple authors or when the story consists of compiling previously reported news from various sources. When outside sources are used, this is noted in the story.
