SALT LAKE CITY — Dillon Jones scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 98-75 victory over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City Summer League action on Tuesday at the Delta Center.

The Thunder built an impressive 29-16 lead after one quarter. The Jazz upped their game in the second quarter, but the Thunder didn’t let up and extended the lead to 18 points by halftime. The third quarter saw the scoring drop a little as the Thunder remained in control, heading into the final period with a 23-point lead. The Jazz kept the fight going in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough as the Thunder cruised to a comfortable 23-point victory.

Jones shot 7 of 8 and had seven rebounds, four assists and a steal to lead the Thunder in scoring and finish as the game’s leading scorer. Ousmane Dieng added 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block, while Kyle Kelly had seven points, eight rebounds and a block.

Kenneth Lofton Jr. and Brice Sensabaugh each scored 18 points to lead the Jazz. Jason Preston followed with 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal, while Kyle Filipowski added four points, five rebounds and two assists.

Both teams finish their Salt Lake City Summer League games on Wednesday, with the Thunder facing the Grizzlies and the Jazz facing the 76ers.
