DUBLIN, CALIFORNIA — A new restaurant specializing in North and South Indian cuisine has opened in Dublin, further bolstering the city’s reputation as a growing regional capital of innovative Asian cuisine.

Biryani Spot is now open in the Ulferts Center at 4288 Dublin Boulevard (Ste. 111), which also houses Tasty Pot Taiwanese food, Fujiwara Ramen, Thai Basil Express, Korean-inspired Egg Happiness, Kee Wah Bakery, Pho Lovers and Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle.

As the name suggests, Biryani Spot offers an extensive menu of biryani, a dish made with rice, meat and/or vegetables or paneer. Guests can choose from chicken biryani, prawn biryani, fish biryani, egg biryani, mushroom biryani and more. The menu also offers a wide range of curries, dosas, starters, lassi drinks, desserts and a section of Indian-Chinese fusion cuisine.

Biryani Spot is now open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For more information, call 925-361-5317.
