Solvang Independence Day Life, Liberty, Love Parade Category Winners Announced | Lifestyles

In advance of the annual Fourth of July Independence Day Festival and Fireworks held at Old Mission Santa Inès, the Solvang Rotary Club kicked off the day with its annual Fourth of July Parade, featuring dozens of parade participants, including vintage cars, lively horse troupes, dance groups, a high school marching band and creative floats designed by local businesses.

Under the motto “Life, Liberty and Love,” the parade marched through downtown Solvang, led by local World War II hero and designated Grand Marshal Jim Kunkle and accompanied by hordes of festively dressed parade-goers.

The following participants were named winners in their respective categories:
