MADISON, Wis. — Plan ahead and mark July 29 on your calendar to treat your lucky hitters to a day on the green while supporting Wisconsin soybean farmers. The Wisconsin Soybean Association (WSA) joins forces with Clean Fuels Alliance America to host the Clean Fuels Soybean Classic in Evansville.

“We are excited to further promote the Clean Fuels Soybean Classic by extending the registration and sponsorship deadlines for our inaugural event. We hope to add even more golfers to the roster to support our Wisconsin growers,” said Adam Kask, executive director of the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board (WSMB), an event sponsor.

Teams can register now through Friday, July 26, for the event, which will be held at Evansville Golf Course in Evansville. Sponsorship opportunities are available through Monday, July 15.

The entry fee is $100 per person or $400 for a team of 4. This includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, and food and drink vouchers. The event begins with registration at 11am and a shotgun start at 12pm.

WSA is a farmer-led advocacy organization that advocates for the interests of nearly 17,000 Wisconsin soybean farmers in Madison and Washington, DC. All proceeds from this event will benefit WSA and its advocacy efforts.

“WSA is proud to partner with Clean Fuels Alliance America on this fundraiser,” said WSA Vice President Doug Rebout. “Together, we support biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel to reduce our carbon footprint and support Wisconsin soybean farmers.”

Clean Fuels Alliance America is committed to supporting the growth of the sustainable biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel industries and serves as the industry’s central coordinating body for technical, environmental and quality assurance programs, while also being the strongest voice for advocacy, communications and market development.
