Sister Stella Olson concluded her earthly journey on July 7, 2024, one day before the 40th anniversary of her mother’s death. Stella Ann Olson was born on January 29, 1940 in Mandan, ND to Arthur W. and Agnes Tharp Olson. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Grade School and Mandan High School, graduating in 1957. Ten years after the divorce, she was called to religious life and joined the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She professed her vows on June 22, 1997. After graduating from the University of Mary in 1998, she served in various capacities until her retirement.

Her parents and siblings Arthur II, John, Dennis and Jane Harsh predeceased her.

Sister Stella is survived by her children, Tamara (Steve) Kraft, Eric (Deborah) Kautzman, Rex (Karen) Kautzman and Craig (Jennifer) Kautzman; her grandchildren Brian, Anna and Kate Kautzman, Teagan, Ingrid and Karsten Kautzman, Bohdi and Meliah, Michael (Ashley) Kraft and Mitchell (Kristina) Kraft; and her great-grandchildren Ivan and Autum, Grayden and Izora.
