Stanley has been in an Evansville animal shelter for almost a year and needs a home

Stan the Man, aka Stanley, has been at VHS since October 2023 and this sweet boy is looking for his forever home.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, “All makes and models and all certified pre-owned.” They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens a few weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there’s a good chance the VHS has a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week with the VHS, we feature a Pet of the Week in hopes of helping them find a permanent home. This week, our Pet of the Week is Stanley. Stanley has spent nearly a year in the shelter and is ready for a permanent home.

Stanley is a very good boy who loves belly rubs and playing outside. Currently, Stanley’s adoption fee is reduced to just $50!

Stan the Man (aka Stanley) is one of our oldest residents and has been at VHS since October 2023! This 4-year-old good boy loves rolling around in the grass, getting belly rubs, and going on car rides. Meeting potential dog friends is a must, as he can be picky about the company he keeps. Stanley’s adoption fee (which includes his neuter, registered microchip, and current vaccinations) is currently only $50, thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation! Apply for him online at vhslifesaver.org
