Michael Sparks is no stranger to his craft—with nearly a decade of anthems for sweaty crowds, the Quebec native has continued to evolve his sound. From frenetic big-room records reminiscent of the 2010s EDM scene to punchy bass house hits, Sparks has mastered the art of dancefloor hype.

Flash forward to 2024: Sparks has delivered his latest work, alter egoThis four-track EP showcases his signature powerful sound, weaving tinny horns and crisp lasers over raw basslines.

With the tracks “Champion’s Tune” and “I’m Ridin'”, Sparks invites listeners into a sweaty dancefloor mood and lets the EP gently ease into everyday life with harder house elements. alter ego continues with “Ex Machina”, a collaboration with Escargot (the artist alias of Snails), and rounds off with “Tune” – both head-shaking hits that are set to delight the festival audience.
